I had to write a cinquain poem about Manu Tukutuku (Kite). I learned the steps to making a cinquain poem it was difficult to come up with ideas for different words. I enjoyed the different challenges of making a poem about kites. I am still wondering what other descriptive words I could have used.

I love your cinquain! Very descriptive, I can imagine the manu tukutuku soaring up high! I am wondering if beautiful is a synonym for Manu Tukutuku? Can you think of some other words out of the readings that mean the same as the first word?
ReplyDeleteA really lovely poem Kaycee! I have read it three times and have enjoyed it more each time. That's often the way with poetry I think. You have compared the kite to a bird. Maybe you could picture a bird in different types of flight and that would help you find even more exciting descriptive words than you already have!
