Gisborne Museum

Today we went to the Gisborne Museum to learn about voyages. I learned about how vogues used the stars. I really enjoyed going to the star doom. I wonder if we go back this term to the Museum.

This is my digital learning about my top 4 values in my learning and what I need to work on. I learned to pinpoint my learning and what I can improve on in my learning. I really enjoyed getting a different view of my learning.

Term 4 math grid 2020

On Monday and Wednesday, the class does a math grid. I am working to get faster at my math grid. we do a math grid to help get better at doing timetables. I really enjoy seeing the improvement in my timetables. I am still wondering if I can get better then Mrs Hall.

M.A.P.S Market Day

On tuesday our class had a animail and shop day some people brought there animal in to do a workshop. the mouny we rased from the treats was getting donated to SPCA. I learn about how to run a workshop and a market day. I really enjoyed working with all the animal and getting the treats for my petes. I wonder if we will do somthink like this next term. 

Looking after your lamb

Last week I brought my lamb in. we had a workshop about how to take care of a lamb. I learn that joey was really going around different people.  I really enjoyed teaching the class about lambs. I wonder what other animals are coming in.

  

Term 3 Math Grid

Kiwi in Space

The class had to do a reading about rocket Lab Mahia one of the tasks. I learn about some software moto. I really enjoyed reading about the rocket lab. I'm still wondering what else I can learn about the rocket lab.
 

Tiger Report

  This week I had to do a report about tigers. There was a choice out of tigers or snakes I have chosen tigers because they are one of my favorite animals. I really enjoyed reading about tigers and see if there was something more I could learn about tigers. I am still wondering what more I can learn about tigers. This is my tiger report.

Orange Blast Rocket

This is me Bella Khan's rocket its name is orange blast. I learned all about the parts of the rocket and what helps it fly the best. I really enjoyed sticking all the fins and the nose cone on the rocket. I wonder how far it will fly tomorrow I can't what!

Whats the weather?

For T.E.D lab I and Bella had to build a barometer to predict the weather. So when we fly the rocket we know what the weather is doing.  I learn what a barometer how it helps to predict the weather. I really enjoyed making the barometer and gathering the data. I am still wondering what the next project we have to do.
 

K2B2W Rockets Safety Poster

 This is my group's safety poster we had to make the poster before we were able to fly our rockets. I learn how to make a safety poster and what it needs on it. I really enjoyed making the poster and the photos. I am still wondering what the other group's safety poster will look like.

T.E.D Lab Logo

This is the T.E.D lab logo for our new business. Me and Bella created a logo we voted and the overall vote they chouse our logo. I really liked making the logo and voting. I am still wondering what else we make this year for the business.

Hippo Report

My class had to do a reading report about hippos. I learned that hippos grow to 4.6 meters and at shoulder height 1.5 meters. I really enjoyed learning about hippos and how they lived. I am still wondering what I can still learn about hippos.

My class has made a company called T.E.D lab. We have different groups my group is called K2B2W Rockets. I really enjoy working for the T.E.D lab because every day has a new project. This is my profile about my job and what I do.  

Math Grid 2020 Term 2 Results

  This is my term 2 math grid result each week we do a math grid. I am trying to improve my time table I am struggling with my 12 times table. I am really enjoying challenge my self to get better at my 12 times table. I am still wondering if I can bet Mrs hall time and get a chocolate fish.  

Dust

This week I experimented with how clean the air is around my house. I learn about dust and how it travels and settles around the place. I really enjoyed seeing how much dust there is around the house. I am still wondering how much dust the animals carry around like on their backs and in their coat. This is my map of the house and where the most dust is. These are my slides about dust.

Weighty Wind

This week's topic is about the wind and the weather. We had to make lego cars and put sails on them to see which car worked better they had different sized wheels to see if that made a difference in the car I really enjoyed making the cars and see which worked better. I am still wondering if I can adjust them to make them better. This is what I made.
 

Blind Contour Drawing

This week's weekly art project was to do blind contour drawing. when I was drawing I was thinking about the main lines on each drawing. I think doing the teddy bear one was the easiest because the lines weren't as hard.  the most diercult was drawing a person because of all the detail and being able to see what you are drawing. I could really how this would help with my hand and eye condemnation. I would like to see what else I can drawing using blind contour drawing.
