Textured Patchwork Art

This week's weekly art challenge we had to create textured patchwork art. I am proud of the way it all tern out with the texture and the marker. I found to try to find the right texture was hard because there are so many to chose from. I could improve by trying different texture and using a bigger or smaller piece of paper.

    You have used the technique of frottage nicely! I wonder how you can use this within a larger piece of art? Are there artists who do this?

    Hi Kaycee, your result looks beautiful! The soft colours with dark edges is very effective. I would love to know what textures you used for the rubbing. I have learnt a new word... frottage. You did frottage in your cottage :)
