Whangara camp 2019

Makaraka School in gisborne has just been to whangara on their annual leadership camp the senior year 5 and 6’s went on the 20th of February and returned on the 22nd .While they were there they did many activities like kayaking.

I hopped into the kayak the river sloshed against the banks. of the river wash was push out into the river.I was in a bright green and red kayaking . As I paddle I felt the murky river water rolling down my arm.

I scrambled up onto the bank I ran into the water wish I slid into the water with a splash. I bubbled up to the top gasping for air.At last were out of the water .
As  all the kids climbed slowly back up the hill there was some kuts and straps but they all had smile on their face. It was a blast doing kayaking.
