Dissction sheep hearts.
On monday we got to dissecting a sheep heart.
We got into groups then we put the safety gear which was glass, gloves and a apon.Next we got into groups then choose how did what I got the job of cut ing the sheep hart.
First we had a little feel of the heart the fat soled and the muscle was squishy. There was holes in the heart I stuck my finger down the hole yuck that’s gross.
I found lots of blood clots and veins.
I got to use the knife It was a big responsibility. I had to be very careful to not cut me or anybody else the blad was very sharp.
It was very easy to cut through the heart.
After I cut off a bit of fat with some muscle on it we took it to the microscope It was very interesting. To see the different types of meat muscle and fat and some blood clots very interesting with the black as the dead blood and the and red is the lifeblood.
Finally we took off all the gear and tidied up I helped wash off the tools and plates I really enjoyed the experience of dissecting sheep heart it was a blast.
